Akrura
अक्रूर
Akrura, son of Shvaphalka, is a Yadava elder and a great devotee. Sent by Kamsa, he brought Krishna and Balarama from Gokula to Mathura, and on the way, bathing in the Yamuna, beheld the Lord's four-armed form within the water — one of the celebrated devotional episodes of the Bhagavata. The affair of the Syamantaka gem is also connected with him. At SB 1.11.17 he comes with Vasudeva, Ugrasena and Balarama to welcome Krishna to Dvaraka.
